We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to serve as the Georgia Statewide Utilization Management Medical Director.
This role is to Provide the utilization management (UM) clinical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirement of a specific client contract. Mentors and evaluates the team delivered medical services for the patients as well as the UM team. Promotes a culture of right care utilizing the evidence-based standard of care, advocating the right interventional timing and quality outcomes. In partnership with the contract's medical leadership, represents healthcare to the client and the contracted providers in setting the standard for managed care
