Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a vital liaison between families, students, and outpatient healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and coordinated care.
  • Engage with insurance companies regarding pre-certification processes and utilization management to secure necessary treatment for students.
  • Participate in individualized discharge and aftercare planning, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions for clients.
  • Facilitate therapeutic meal support sessions, guiding students towards a healthy relationship with food and modeling positive behavior.
  • Provide empathetic, culturally competent, and affirming care, tailoring treatments to accommodate the unique needs driven by clientsโ€™ intersecting identities.
