BCBA / Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA Analyst)
Location: Alameda, CA 94502 – REMOTE (must live in California)
Pay: $70.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM


Summary


Hiring an experienced BCBA / Applied Behavior Analyst to support the daily operations and clinical oversight of Behavioral Health Treatment (BHT) and ABA services. This role focuses on utilization management support, review of assessments and treatment plans, best-practice compliance, and collaboration with internal teams and provider networks. Ideal candidates have experience in a large health system or public-sector healthcare environment and understand how ABA/BHT services operate within complex, regulated delivery systems.


Responsibilities


  • Review FBA/ABA assessments and treatment plans for medical necessity and best-practice alignment
  • Support operational utilization management for BHT/ABA services under EPSDT guidelines
  • Develop workflows/training protocols and support ABA Navigator day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate with clinical teams and providers to ensure appropriate linkage and continuity of care
  • Prepare reports for regulatory, contractual, accreditation, and internal requirements
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and delegated entity oversight activities
  • Serve as SME for BHT/ABA and behavioral health program operations


Qualifications


  • BCBA or BCBA-D required
  • Master’s/Doctoral degree in related field preferred
  • 3+ years providing ABA/BHT therapy for children diagnosed with ASD required
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in a large health system, hospital network, or public agency healthcare setting (not solely a private clinic, school district, or small practice environment)
  • Experience with healthcare delivery systems/public agency settings preferred
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration skills
