Job description

General Utility

The General Utility position supports daily manufacturing operations by moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, operating various production equipment, and assisting with quality and cleanup activities.

Responsibilities
  • Move materials, load/unload trucks, and operate a forklift as needed.

  • Operate various production equipment, including sandblasters, extruders, vulcanizers, tumblers, and presses.

  • Test, inspect, label, and prepare parts while following production instructions and quality standards.

  • Use calipers and other measuring tools to check parts and complete required quality control checks.

  • Communicate equipment or production issues to supervision and perform routine cleanup and other assigned duties. 

Qualifications and Skills
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.

  • Forklift experience is a plus.

  • Ability to read basic measurements and use measuring tools.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Must be able to safely perform physical production and material-handling duties.

  • Must have 20/20 vision with or without correction.
