Job description

JCC Construction Corp. is an established union commercial construction company, located in Queens, NY. We specialize in utility and site work construction in the New York City area for the past 30 years. We are seeking to hire Construction Staff who are reliable, have keen attention to detail, and take initiative. The ideal candidate is dedicated and desires to grow alongside our company.

JCC Construction Corp. is seeking a project manager to work directly with and under our Management Team. Daily responsibilities include the following at the direction of a senior project manager:

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage the submittal process for assigned projects. An assistant project manager may be assigned contingent upon workload.
  • Perform purchasing for assigned projects as required and to support lower tiered staff.
  • Coordinate with field staff and submit requests for information
  • Identify and prepare change orders for submission to clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable change order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CAD highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Concrete Sidewalks and Utilities highly preferred.
  • Previous project manager experience required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

This is an mid level position with room for growth. Salary negotiable contingent on experience.
