As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the project manager to ensure overall accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality, and project performance. The goal of this position is to develop the skills and experience necessary on your career path to becoming a project manager. The salary range is $95,000.00 - $120,000.00.

Responsibilities: - Manage assigned overhead transmission, drilling/foundations, matting/access, civil access, and related utility construction projects
- Support project setup, contract review, project documentation, drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change logs, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation
- Manage project cost, including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, procurement, billing support, receivables, and budget performance
- Coordinate with project controls to support earned value updates, productivity tracking, forecasting, cost reviews, and schedule updates
- Develop and maintain project schedules, three-week lookaheads, progress updates, milestone tracking, and customer reporting
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers on assigned projects, with support from senior operations and project management leadership as needed
- Coordinate with field leadership to review productivity, labor planning, equipment needs, material usage, access constraints, outage requirements, and schedule performance
- Manage project reporting, customer updates, billing support, internal documentation, and project performance reviews
- Support the change management process, including identifying potential changes, gathering backup documentation, preparing change orders, and tracking resolution
- Coordinate with procurement, fleet, safety, environmental, project controls, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support successful project execution
- Participate in customer meetings, internal planning meetings, project reviews, and jobsite visits
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure project activities are completed in accordance with company, customer, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Support planning and execution for work scopes that may include overhead transmission, drilling/foundations, matting/access, civil access, environmental constraints, and outage-driven work
- Assist with mentoring Assistant Project Managers, project coordinators, and other project support personnel as needed
- Day travel using company provided vehicle to job sites
Education, Skills, Experience Needed: - Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or similar field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
- 3+ years of construction, utility, project management, project controls, or field leadership experience
- Prior experience managing or supporting overhead transmission projects preferred
- Experience supporting or managing utility construction, overhead transmission, distribution, drilling/foundations, matting/access, civil construction, or related infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of project cost, schedule, documentation, forecasting, billing, change management, and customer coordination
- Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with construction management software, scheduling tools, project controls systems, or Primavera preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Self-directed, motivated, and accountable with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work through conflict, adapt to changing business needs, and support a team-oriented environment

- Willingness to travel to project sites as required

- Experience with drilling/foundations, access/matting, civil access, environmental coordination, or outage-based utility work preferred
- Familiarity with earned value, production tracking, forecasting, billing, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout preferred
- Experience working with utility clients, contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and field construction teams preferred
- Ability to mentor Assistant Project Managers or project support staff
- Familiarity with customer reporting, project controls, scheduling, and utility construction documentation preferred
