About this Role
Digco Utility Construction is seeking a highly organized and motivated Dispatcher to support daily field operations. This position serves as the communication hub between customers, technicians, supervisors, and management. The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and assigning work orders, monitoring technician productivity, and ensuring customer requests are handled in a timely and professional manner.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong customer service skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
  • Dispatch and coordinate daily work orders for 100+ field technicians using dispatching and mapping software.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers, technicians, supervisors, and management personnel.
  • Communicate effectively through phone, email, and software systems to ensure timely execution of work orders.
  • Monitor technician schedules and make adjustments throughout the day as operational needs change.
  • Create, update, and manage service orders using SAP and other company software platforms.
  • Utilize mapping and routing tools to efficiently assign work and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with field supervisors and operations teams to ensure service level expectations are met.
  • Prioritize urgent requests and resolve scheduling conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Support daily operations and contribute to continuous process improvements.

What You'll Bring
  • Previous dispatching, call center, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, email, and data entry.
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
