Compensation
$26.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead field crews, coordinate daily operations, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced utility and civil construction environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise field crews on utility, excavation, and infrastructure construction projects.
  • Coordinate daily jobsite activities including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee underground utility installation, excavation, trenching, and site development work.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and utility locates to support accurate project execution.
  • Monitor production, schedules, and jobsite progress to help maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain accurate field documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, clients, and team members.
  • Train and mentor crew members while promoting accountability, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
  • Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in utility, civil, or infrastructure construction.
  • High school Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Operator.
  • Strong knowledge of underground utilities, excavation safety, and trenching operations.
  • Ability to read construction plans and grade stakes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and accountability.
