Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an AI/LLM Solution Architect position for our client.

Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6 months
Work Arrangement: Onsite 3–5 days per week in Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Support AI/LLM solution initiatives within the Energy & Utilities industry.

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and develop use cases.

  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, workflows, and solution specifications.

  • Analyze and document utility business processes across electric, gas, water, or renewable energy operations.

  • Collaborate with developers, architects, GIS specialists, and other technical teams to define and implement solutions.

  • Support Agile delivery teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Evaluate opportunities for AI/LLM, automation, and digital transformation within utility business processes.

  • Support GIS-related initiatives involving spatial data, utility network mapping, and related business processes.

  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and technical audiences.

  • Create and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and other project documentation.

Experience:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Solution Architect supporting Energy & Utilities clients.

  • Experience with utility business processes, including electric, gas, water, or renewable energy operations.

  • Experience gathering requirements, developing use cases, analyzing business processes, and managing stakeholders.

  • Experience collaborating with developers, architects, GIS specialists, and other technical teams.

  • Experience working in Agile and enterprise SDLC environments.

  • Exposure to AI/LLM initiatives, digital transformation, or emerging technology solutions is preferred.

  • Experience in client-facing consulting or large-scale enterprise environments is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
