Lead Developer:

The Developer designs, develops, and tests solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements. They are expected to be proficient in a variety of technologies and languages (C#, Java, TypeScript, Angular, React, SQL, etc., Microservices, Cloud Architecture and API's) to develop applications. The developer approaches software holistically, catering to both user experience and functionality. The developer dabbles in emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, internet of things and Artificial Intelligence, etc.) to develop solutions that improve business performance (e.g., proactive customer service, outage management, grid balancing, fraud detection, IoT security).

Senior Developer:

The Senior Developer designs develop, and tests solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements. They are expected to be proficient in a variety of technologies and languages, Microservices, Cloud Architecture, API's, SAP ABAP) to develop applications. The developer approaches software holistically, catering to both user experience and functionality. The developer dabbles in emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, internet of things and Artificial Intelligence etc.) to develop solutions that improve business performance (e.g., proactive customer service, outage management, grid balancing, fraud detection, IoT security).

The Senior level performs assigned tasks under minimal guidance from Team Leader.


Responsibilities

Lead Developer:

  • Advance in depth emerging technology and software delivery knowledge.
  • Collaborate with business users, system analysts, developers, and ecosystem partners to bring innovative ideas from conception to launch at scale.
  • Assist in analyzing and researching new and existing products, procedures, and/or workflow needs associated with business systems.
  • Work in an iterative/Agile environment and be a strong team player.
  • Adopt emerging technologies and launch products / services faster with rapid prototyping & iterative methods.
  • Proven ability to take prototypes to production, following engineering best practices.
  • Build, configure, or customize the technical solution (reusable components, preconfigured solutions, cloud solution and services).
  • Work very closely with the System Architect and multiple Technology teams to champion the adoption of patterns, platforms, and tools to support the usage and conformity of solution architecture.
  • Manage automation and monitor application integration as code iteratively goes through assembly and product tests.
  • May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.
  • The company reserves the right to determine if this position will be assigned to work on-site, remotely, or a combination of both. Assigned work location may change.   • Background in developing websites using frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, etc.
  • Background in developing APIs, working with JSON, and is proficient in SQL
  • Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future through digital technology.
  • Familiar with the latest technologies, trends, standards, products, and applicability.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment.
  • Strong problem solving and analytics skills to be able to develop technology solutions that solve business problems quickly.

  • SAP S/4 Hana experience.
