Position: Advanced Drafter
Location: Redlands, CA

PBLA Surveying Inc. is an established surveying firm based in Redlands, California. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Advanced Drafter to support our drafting and survey teams with complex CAD drafting, 3D modeling, and high-precision technical drawings across a variety of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a technical environment and is ready to take ownership of complex drafting assignments.
Position Overview
The Advanced Drafter is responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings and survey deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software. This role requires strong technical expertise, advanced drafting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and field survey teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards on every project.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other drafting software
  • Develop accurate survey maps, profiles, topographic models, and utility layouts
  • Assist with pole profiling, surface modeling, and 3D representations for utility projects
  • Integrate field data into final drawings in collaboration with survey teams
  • Ensure all drawings comply with client specifications, industry regulations, and company standards
  • Perform quality control reviews prior to submission
