Job description

We’re looking for a dependable and customer-focused Utility Clerk to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

As a Utility Clerk, you’ll support multiple customer service areas throughout the bank, helping provide excellent service to our customers while assisting where needed most.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in various Customer Service departments and the Call Center as needed
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, payments, and check cashing
  • Open new accounts and assist customers with account questions and services
  • Help customers with IRA inquiries, ATM card orders, and check orders
  • Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs
  • Provide backup support for the Switchboard Operator and Call Center
  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service and assist with resolving inquiries
  • Follow bank policies, procedures, and security guidelines

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tact and public relations expertise
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Vertex, calculator, and PC
  • Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule
