Job description

Are you passionate about helping orthopaedic patients? Do you want to be part of the largest orthopaedic provider in Eastern Tennessee? Join the KOC team on site at KOC at UT Medical Center, the Region's only Academic and Level 1 Trauma Center. This role will support the Orthopedic Institute, one of UT Medical Center's 9 Centers of Excellence, through a long-standing partnership with KOC providers. We are currently seeking a full-time night shift Advanced Practice Provider - Trauma who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice.

At Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic, our purpose is to improve lives through patient-centered care - every patient, every time. And we've been doing just that since our founding in 1930.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently with multiple surgeons to Trauma and ER consults at UT Hospital

  • Traiging appropriately providing routine care

  • Ability to practice autonomously on night shift from 7PM - 7AM
  • Provide in services in clinic as needed

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • OPA-C or PA-C licensure
  • Sports medicine or orthopaedic experience highly preferred
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance standards

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Work in a busy orthopaedic surgery environment

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and independently

  • Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service
