Job Description: Catering Manager - 280 Location

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Catering Sales Manager for the Over the Mountain area to join our team and oversee all aspects of our catering sales and operations. The Catering Manager will be responsible for developing new business through sales calls, as well as organizing and executing catering orders. As always, our management team ensures exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute all catering deliveries and events. Promote our catering program to corporations, schools, private and public businesses, personal gatherings, and other special occasions.

2. Create and develop a potential list of new customers for our catering business. Sell our menu and services, taking into consideration customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients. Book events and catering orders in advance with the strategy of gaining and maintaining repeat business.3. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific event requirements, ensuring personalized service and creating memorable experiences.4. Make sales calls, in person and on the phone to generate new and repeat business. Sales experience is preferred.5. Establish and maintain customer relationships, and ensure quality products and services are delivered on time.6. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote catering services, attract new clients, and maintain existing customer relationships.9. Stay updated with seasonal opportunities and the competitive landscape to continuously improve our catering exposure and offerings.10. Address customer complaints, resolve any event-related issues promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Catering Manager or a similar role in the hospitality industry.2. Strong sales, organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, vendors, and staff members.4. In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and catering operations.5. Ability to work well under pressure, problem-solve, and make quick decisions to ensure smooth event execution.6. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.7. Creative thinking and attention to detail to create visually appealing and innovative catering concepts.
