Job description

NDT Assistant – Savannah, GA
We are currently seeking experienced NDT Assistants to support field and shop inspection operations in the Savannah, GA area. This position is ideal for candidates with prior NDT assistant experience who are looking to grow within the nondestructive testing industry. NDT students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist certified NDT Technicians with inspections and testing activities
  • Support setup, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment
  • Prepare work areas, materials, and inspection tools
  • Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas
  • Travel locally to job sites as needed within the area
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or lead technicians
Requirements
  • Previous NDT Assistant experience is required
  • NDT students currently enrolled in or recently completed an NDT program are welcome to apply
  • Must be local to the Heath, OH area
  • No relocation assistance is available for this position
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel locally when needed
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

  • Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or refinery environments
