The Customer Solutions Executive (CSE) III is a senior sales professional responsible for growing and managing strategic federal civilian accounts, including EPA, USPS, and US Courts. Acting as a trusted advisor to customer executives and technical stakeholders, the CSE III drives business development, revenue growth, and customer success by aligning AT&T's technology and services portfolio with agency mission priorities. This role requires strong federal market expertise, consultative selling skills, and the ability to lead complex pursuits from opportunity identification through contract award and delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Drive revenue growth across the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), United States Postal Service (USPS), and Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (US Courts) accounts by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities spanning AT&T's fiber, networking, managed services, professional services, and emerging technology portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with executive, program, contracting, and technical stakeholders within EPA, USPS, and US Courts to understand mission priorities, business challenges, and technology requirements.
  • Create and execute account strategies that align customer objectives with AT&T capabilities, driving revenue growth, customer retention, and long-term business expansion.
  • Serve as the primary customer advocate, ensuring AT&T successfully delivers solutions and services that meet customer expectations, mission requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate across AT&T sales, engineering, product management, pricing, contracting, legal, and service delivery organizations, as well as strategic partners and system integrators, to design and deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Lead consultative customer engagements by identifying business and technical requirements, recommending innovative solutions, and positioning AT&T capabilities to achieve customer mission outcomes.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive account planning, pipeline management, market intelligence, and customer engagement activities.
  • Support and lead responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and other federal acquisition activities.
  • Maintain broad expertise across AT&T's product and services portfolio, including networking, mobility, cybersecurity, cloud, managed services, collaboration, and digital transformation solutions.
  • Manage multiple customer initiatives simultaneously while coordinating internal and external stakeholders to achieve account objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support overall account management activities, including customer escalations, service delivery coordination, order management, billing issue resolution, contract administration support, and operational problem remediation.
  • Monitor industry trends, federal technology initiatives, and customer priorities to identify emerging opportunities and develop strategies that enhance AT&T's competitive position.
  • Conduct customer briefings, executive business reviews, solution presentations, and strategy sessions with both technical and executive-level audiences.
  • Partner with vendors, manufacturers, and system integrators to create differentiated solutions that strengthen AT&T's value proposition and improve win rates.
  • Travel as required to support customer meetings, business reviews, industry events, solution workshops, and onsite engagements.

Required Qualifications:

Individuals must meet or exceed the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience supporting U.S. Federal Government customers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in telecommunications, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed service solutions, including voice, data, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience developing and executing technical sales strategies that align customer mission requirements with technology solutions.
  • Experience supporting business development activities, capture efforts, proposal development, and oral presentations.
  • Strong understanding of Federal contract vehicles, procurement processes, and government buying cycles.
  • Ability to independently manage complex customer opportunities and provide technical leadership with limited direction.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer engagements, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influence skills across customer, partner, and internal organizations.
