USPS Motor Vehicle Operators are employees of the United States Postal Service responsible for transporting mail and packages between post offices, regional centers, and other facilities using postal vehicles. They operate trucks, vans, or other motor vehicles and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of mail according to scheduled routes. In addition to driving, they may also be tasked with loading and unloading mail, performing basic vehicle checks, and maintaining accurate delivery records. They play a crucial role in ensuring timely mail distribution across the postal network.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a USPS Motor Vehicle Operator, and why are they important?

The Building People, LLC is seeking a qualified Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) to provide safe, reliable transportation for senior federal executives in the Washington, DC Metro area. This is an as-needed position that must be performed without government supervision or intervention and requires excellent driving skills, punctuality, and a strong commitment to customer service.
The MVO verifies passengers against manifest and completes all required paperwork including trip tickets and fuel dispensing records.
