Job description

Position Summary Join our team and earn $22.25 per hour! Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time Warehouse Presort Associate 3 in our Phoenix, AZ facility. Shift & Hours 3rd shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. Compensation Base Rate: $20.75/hr. Additional $1.50/hr for 3rd shift. Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely processing of the mail run on the MLOCR Equipment. Assign workers to the appropriate equipment and job duties. Set up machines and verify quality of sorted mail using QMS procedures. Assist in preparation of USPS and Production reporting as required. Support a variety of warehouse tasks including presorting and machine operation. Oversee production workers in designated areas and report production and personnel issues to Supervisor promptly. Maintain quality standards, ensuring QMS processes and procedures are followed at all times. Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency of equipment use, working conditions, and employee motivation. Keep downtime to a minimum to meet and exceed site PFPLH metrics. Stay informed of Acceptance Times and coordinate truck departures to meet deadlines. Assist Customer Service and Operations teams in communicating and resolving mail quality issues. Train new employees in job functions, policies and procedures, including classroom orientation and certification programs. Coordinate on‐the‐job training, employee engagement initiatives, and reporting to Management. Answer employee questions during training and direct employees to the appropriate area or individual. Provide feedback and reporting to Management regarding employee training status. Qualifications & Experience 1 to 2 years' experience in a Lead role. Skilled and knowledgeable across all areas of warehouse operations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and USPS postal regulations. Experience preparing reports and presenting information to managers, customers, and employees. Proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and engage large groups of employees. Ability to calculate and prepare various reports regarding volumes, rejects, and other pertinent data. Solid understanding of using Windows environments to set up production runs. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and solve basic production problems. Additional Requirements Must possess and maintain current certifications as outlined for Presort Academy. Additional certification training may be required as new training is developed. Demonstrate safety and security precautions and follow company policies. Perform all additional duties as required. Ability to stand, walk, stoop and bend up to 80% of the time. Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. Dependable and reliable. Knowledge of the pre‐sort mailing business is a plus. Willingness to work overtime, which may include weekends, holidays, or different shifts with little or no advance notice.
