Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to enhance their Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes. The successful candidate will analyze, assess, and implement security measures while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency in access management.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise across third-party product inventory to effectively perform key access management processes, including role design and setup, user provisioning and deprovisioning, and special projects as needed.
• Foster open dialogue and partner with IAM, Information Security, IT, internal and external stakeholders, and other business units to implement consistent IAM requirements aligned with policy and standards. Provide recommendations to enhance IAM policies and standards based on technical expertise.
• Complete access security requests to grant, update, or remove crew, contractor, and system access, analyzing security impacts and identifying necessary approvals.
• With a risk-based approach, analyze and resolve issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Evaluate alternative options, assess risks, and recommend solutions to meet business needs.
• Offer subject matter expertise and technical consultation on IAM-related issues. Share knowledge and mentor team members when appropriate. Support governance teams during internal and external audit walkthroughs.
• Collect and analyze key metrics to develop internal reporting that supports vendor performance management.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement. Support process and procedure changes to meet evolving business needs and departmental objectives.
• Contribute to the development of tools that automate access management services and enforce security policies and standards. Design and develop documentation to support application onboarding.
• Lead or participate in projects to evaluate and implement security administration and components within the systems development lifecycle.
• Create and update documentation, including procedures, future-state processes, and technical evaluations.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum three years of related work experience; security administration experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of best practices in security administration and risk management.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn, question, and explore new ideas and concepts.
• Robust troubleshooting skills with minimal oversight; ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty to support routine and complex access requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and translate business needs into actionable provisioning requirements.
• Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, ServiceNow, Active Directory, AWS, Azure, UiPath automation, PowerShell, Windows, Linux, and other tools.
