Sr UX/UI Visual Designer (Enterprise Applications)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr UX/UI Visual Designer to join a collaborative, fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a design professional who combines exceptional visual design expertise with a strong understanding of user experience principles, accessibility standards, and modern design systems.

You'll work alongside cross-functional teams to create intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling digital experiences that positively impact users and business outcomes.


What You'll Do
  • Design engaging application interfaces with a strong focus on user workflows, interactions, integrations, and data visualization.
  • Create visually polished, accessible, and responsive experiences across web-based applications.
  • Partner closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to transform concepts into seamless user experiences.
  • Advocate for the end user while balancing business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to and expand enterprise design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Participate in design reviews and walkthroughs to maintain quality standards across projects.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
  • Drive work independently, prioritize effectively, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging UX methodologies, and design technologies.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 8+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong focus on visual and interaction design.
  • Demonstrated success designing for large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing:

    • Data visualization projects
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Responsive design
    • Accessibility and inclusive design practices

  • Expert-level visual design skills with strong command of:

  • Experience with prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, UX Design, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working within financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Knowledge of UX research methodologies and user-centered design best practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
