What is a user interface design intern?

User Interface (UI) Design Interns are entry-level professionals or students who assist in creating and improving the visual and interactive elements of digital products, such as websites or mobile apps. They work under the guidance of experienced designers to develop layouts, icons, buttons, and other graphical components that enhance user experience. UI Design Interns collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure designs are both visually appealing and functional. Interns often contribute to real product features, allowing them to see the impact of their work in a live environment while building a diverse portfolio.
