Job Description
Deliver user centric design products in direct support of unconventional warfare clients. Work collaboratively with an agile, cross-functional team of UX strategists and designers, product managers, and technologists to understand the client vision and their users' needs to create a seamless user experience. Advocate for accessible design while connecting the experiences with end-users across the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development. Recommend prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements centered on the end-user.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with creating user-centered design solutions across multiple platforms to solve complex problems
  • Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including soliciting business requirements, conducting user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design, and front-end development
  • Experience with collaborating with a cross-functional Agile development team and communicating design concepts to ensure the end result of an intuitive user experience
  • Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team-based government or professional services environment
  • Experience with establishing and managing branding, style guides, and design systems
  • Experience with designing and prototyping with tools, including Sketch, Figma, Axure, Invision, and Adobe Creative Suite

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, including Angular and VueJS
  • Experience with facilitating user focus groups to validate new features and functions
  • Experience facilitating workshops and human-centered design sessions
  • Knowledge of the DoD and the intelligence community (IC)
