Job description

Your tasks

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers (physical and virtual) using VMware vSphere/ESXi, ensuring high availability of manufacturing and business systems.
  • Administer Active Directory, manage user accounts, file system permissions, and group policies across the plant IT environment.
  • Support and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco switches (VLAN configuration and administration), cabling, and overall network topology to ensure connectivity for production and office systems.
  • Configure, deploy, and support end-user hardware and peripherals including Honeywell terminals, barcode/thermal printers, Yealink VoIP devices, and Teams video conferencing equipment.
  • Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for SAP ERP, MES, and other manufacturing applications; escalate advanced issues as appropriate.
  • Administer and support Microsoft software suite (Windows Server, Microsoft 365) and IIS web services; manage deployments using PowerShell scripting and LDAP.
  • Maintain endpoint security using CrowdStrike; ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and support ESD and IT safety protocols across the facility.
  • Support PLC systems and industrial control interfaces related to production equipment; coordinate with engineering teams on IT/OT integration needs.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and automation scripts using Python, VB Script, ASP.NET, or Visual Studio to improve IT operational efficiency.
  • Maintain database systems and SQL queries to support reporting, manufacturing data integrity, and application connectivity; support IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco).
  • 2-4 years of IT support or systems administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Server installation, configuration, and virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi).
  • Active Directory administration and file system/user account management.
  • Cisco switch administration including VLAN assignment and 1st-level configuration.
  • Network topology knowledge and hands-on network cabling support.
  • Database knowledge and SQL query development.
  • Industrial PCs knowledge / Siemens machines.
  • Network Infrastructure and Cabling.
  • Microsoft Software Suite (Microsoft 365, Windows Server).
  • Strong communicator capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical shopfloor and operations staff.
  • Strong troubleshooting discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional working proficiency in English; Spanish and/or Arabic preferred.
