Expert level experience with applicable design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) - 4-7 years.ย 

Expert level experience within User-centered visual and interaction design principles - 4-7 years.ย 

Work experience in a team environment - 4-7 yearsย 

Experience facilitating design workshops and informal teams - 4-7 years.ย 


A strong candidate will also have:ย 

Experience with JavaScript and common libraries such as jQuery.ย 

Experience working in a UX role or on a UX team.ย 

Experience with usability testing and research methodologies such as direct observation interviews, focus groups, and card sorting.ย 

Experience with responsive design and/or phone and tablet interface design.ย 

A strong passion for proven and emerging interaction and UI design patterns.ย 

Experience negotiating with stakeholders to drive an intentional design philosophy


Qualifications

Strong creative and visual design background including web, user interface, and graphic design.ย 

Fluency with design tools including Adobe Fireworks, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.ย 

Demonstrated ability to deliver clean and usable digital interfaces while applying visual brand guidelines. Experience with core web UI development languages including HTML and CSS.ย 

Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead design discussions and workshops.ย 

Ability to manage multiple projects at once while quickly shifting focus and maintaining strong attention to detail.ย
