Job Description:
This role delivers user experience and user interface design expertise across digital product initiatives, driving design excellence from discovery through delivery with minimal supervision.
Job Summary
Design user experiences and interactions for web properties and internal applications across all stages of the digital product cycle
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas clearly to cross-functional teams
Lead product solutioning independently, championing UX and UI design excellence from discovery through delivery
Maintain and govern the design system in Figma as a primary contributor, ensuring consistency and scalability
Incorporate UX research, analytics, and customer feedback into design decisions and interpret performance metrics to track product success
Perform site heuristic reviews, workflow analysis, and competitive assessments to identify opportunities and inform solutions
Apply AI-assisted design tools appropriately within workflows to improve design efficiency and output
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
5 years of related UX/UI design experience
Expert proficiency in Figma, including component-based design, design system creation and governance, prototyping, and developer handoff
Strong knowledge of requirements documentation, site maps, wireframes, prototypes, functional specifications, and style standards
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and current web technologies
Demonstrated experience in user research and analysis, usability audits and testing, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience identifying UX research needs and partnering with research teams to scope studies appropriately
Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to develop efficient, insight-driven user experiences
Familiarity with AI resource fluency and incorporating AI-assisted design tools into standard workflows
Strong creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a track record of applying strategic UX thinking to complex challenges
