Job description

Your Opportunity
The Manager, Market Research & Research Operations will lead end-to-end primary research while strengthening the processes, tools, standards, and operational practices that enable the Market Research team to work efficiently and consistently.
This individual will partner with business stakeholders to clarify their needs, translate business questions into appropriate research approaches, and manage quantitative and qualitative studies from initial scoping through analysis, reporting, and activation. The role will also own important research operations, including project intake and tracking, survey programming and quality assurance, sample and participant management, vendor coordination, documentation, compliance support, knowledge management, and process improvement.
The role will provide dedicated research support to the International and Workplace teams, helping each group translate distinct business priorities and audience needs into studies, actionable insights, and consistent research practices.
What you have
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing primary market research from business-question development through reporting.
  • Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including survey research and interview- or discussion-based approaches.
  • Experience developing research instruments and overseeing programming, testing, fieldwork, data quality, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Ability to move comfortably between detailed execution and higher-level interpretation.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to turn evidence into clear business implications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder-management and consultative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience improving processes, documenting workflows, or creating reusable research standards and resources.
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment in handling sensitive research information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, plus experience with survey or research platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with research involving clients, prospects, consumers, or specialized customer segments.
  • Experience with Qualtrics or a similar survey platform.
  • Experience managing participant recruitment, customer sample, research panels, or qualitative scheduling.
  • Familiarity with vendor contracts, budgets, invoicing, and research procurement processes.
  • Experience supporting brand, advertising, message-testing, customer-experience, product, or UX research.
  • Experience creating training, onboarding materials, process documentation, or knowledge-management resources.
