Employment Type: 6+ Month W2 Contract to Hire (No C2C or Sponsorship)

Job Description

Talent Groups is seeking an experienced UX Manager to lead a team of up to five UX designers while remaining actively involved in design execution. This is a player coach role that combines people leadership with hands-on UX strategy, research, and design.

The UX Manager will mentor and develop the UX team while partnering with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, customer-centered digital experiences. This role will establish UX standards, drive innovation, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to five UX designers while remaining hands-on.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and manage team performance and career development.
  • Foster a collaborative, user-centered design culture.

UX Strategy

  • Define and execute the UX vision across digital products.
  • Lead user research, usability testing, and Design Thinking initiatives.
  • Establish UX standards, best practices, and design governance.
  • Present UX strategy and recommendations to executive leadership.

Product Experience

  • Drive UX across web, mobile, kiosks, and other digital platforms.
  • Design seamless customer journeys that improve engagement and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to deliver intuitive digital experiences.
  • Leverage customer feedback, analytics, and UX trends to continuously improve the user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of UX design experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Experience managing and developing UX designers.
  • Proven ability to lead UX strategy while remaining hands-on with design execution.
  • Expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful digital product design and UX leadership.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting B2B and B2C digital products preferred.
  • Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise customer experience initiatives is a plus.
