In this role, you will play a key part in turning product ideas into functional designs while actively leveraging generative AI applications to accelerate research, prototyping, asset generation, and workflow productivity.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design user-friendly interfaces, wireframes, user journeys, and interactive prototypes for digital platforms.

  • Utilize AI tools to assist in wireframing, generate design variations, streamline research, and speed up overall workflow execution.

  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to translate concepts into clean, functional visual assets.

  • Conduct basic user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance user engagement and usability.

  • Maintain and contribute to consistent design systems, component libraries, and style guides.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Design Experience: 0–2 years of experience in UI/UX design (educational background, bootcamp, or portfolio projects included).

  • Design Tools: Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

  • AI Tool Integration: Familiarity with or eagerness to utilize AI design and productivity tools (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT, Galileo AI, Relume, or Figma AI plugins) to boost efficiency.

  • Core Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and responsive layout design.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to balance aesthetic appeal with user usability and technical feasibility.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities and developer handoff processes.

  • Experience prompt-engineering or creating visual assets using generative AI applications.

COMPENSATION & PERKS

  • Hourly Rate: $12.00 – $15.00 / hour

  • Skill Development: Hands-on experience applying next-generation AI tooling within a professional design workflow.

  • Work Environment: Flexible scheduling with remote/hybrid work options.
