Senior UI/UX Designer: PetSafe Brands

Experience:

5-7 years, individual contributor. Connected IoT consumer products.

Lead end-to-end design on complex initiatives, mentor more junior designers, and raise the craft bar across the team.

Profile - Containment Experience Lead

Owns the full experience for our containment and tracking products - physical setup, in-app features, ongoing use. Embedded in engineering, partners closely with hardware teams, shifts into NPD mode when new products enter their domain.

(Requirement)

  • Deep experience with connected hardware / IoT consumer products.

  • Has shipped a hardware product end-to-end (not just an app that talks to hardware).
    Comfortable designing for setup, pairing, connectivity states, firmware updates.
    Comfortable embedded in engineering teams and working within hardware constraints.

  • Good signal in a portfolio: out-of-box experience flows, device pairing flows, designs that handle real-world hardware edge cases (offline states, low battery, sync failures).
