As a People Experience (PX) Advisory Specialist within the Americas, you play a key role in delivering high quality PX support that enables our managers and employees to perform at their best. You provide clear, compliant, and people centric guidance across a wide range of employee-related matters, while contributing to continuous improvements that shape a modern and efficient PX experience.

What you'll do

Here at Volvo Cars US Operations, we are a people-centric organization and believe that the Human Resources function is all about the People Experience (PX).  As a People Experience (Human Resources) Advisory Specialist within the Americas, you play a key role in delivering high quality PX support that enables our managers and employees to perform at their best.  Our PX Advisory team are key players to case management, coaching, resolution and service excellence. You provide clear, compliant, and people centric guidance across a wide range of employee-related matters, while contributing to process development and continuous improvement efforts that shape a modern and efficient PX experience.  

Principal Responsibilities 
As a member of the PX team you will provide advice and services to managers and employees across the whole Talent Journey from the human resources perspective.  

People Support & Specialist Guidance 

Based on our global and regional standards, provide guidance and PX support to managers and employees via phone, email, digital case management, and in person interactions. 

  • Offer guidance across all areas within our PX Advisory (human resources) scope, including:  
    • All elements of the Talent Journey 
    • Global Job Framework evaluations  
    • Continuous Dialogue: performance process  
    • Disciplinary and performance improvement cases 
    • Working hours, absence and time reporting 
    • HRIS Systems  
    • Conflict management and employee relations 
    • Onboarding experience for new employees 
    • Other HR topics requiring senior expertise and investigations 
  • Act as a trusted HR partner by delivering advice aligned with Volvo Cars' policies, culture and local labor legislation. 

Case Management & Service Excellence 

  • Handle People Experience (PX) cases end-to-end with high accuracy, confidentiality and a strong customer focused mindset. 
  • Ensure all case notes and decisions are documented clearly to support transparency and continuous learning. 
  • Secure a consistent, high quality PX experience across all touchpoints. 

Proactive Improvement Work 

  • Identify patterns, recurring questions and improvement opportunities across our processes and digital tools. 
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen self-service, knowledge content, My Employment content and user experience for managers and employees. 
  • Support training and capability building, including system education and policy onboarding for leaders. 

Collaboration Across PX (Human Resources) 

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and PX operational and expert teams to secure seamless end-to-end support.  
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our PX services. 
  • Share insights and feedback to support data-driven decisions within the People Experience organization. 
What you'll bring
  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or similar experience from work.  
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience within a service center model, delivering HR operations through specialist or generalist role 
  • Strong customer focus and solution-oriented mindset 
  • Experience with Human Resource Management Systems like SuccessFactors, LMS or ServiceNow (case management).  Ability to leverage digital tools to create efficiencies in processes.  
  • Data-driven mindset to identify trends and process gaps. 
  • We appreciate applicants with skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese
