 Responsibilities

• Represents the company for the sale of agricultural machinery to customers in a defined sales area.

• Maintains current product knowledge on the features and benefits of all equipment potentially sellable by the dealership.

• Monitors competitive activity/products and provides timely communications to management accordingly.

• Maintains all customer information and owns all sales activity in defined territory.

• Knows and follows a defined sales process.

• Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events.

• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.

• Monitors trends in customers’ business activities with timely communication to management.

• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used equipment.

• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.

• Maintains current knowledge of used equipment values and is able to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

• Assists customers with machine start-up.

Requirements:

•  1+ years equipment sales experience.

•  Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred.

•  Ability to work flexible hours.

•  Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.

• Excellent customer relationship skills.

• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports and financial statements.
