The Edgewood Locker is seeking a highly detail-oriented and self-motived individual to join our team as a Part-Time Food Safety Compliance Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with experience in USDA-inspected facilities who is passionate about food safety and documentation excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and complete food safety and HACCP records in compliance with USDA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate, legible, and timely documentation.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or non-conformances in records.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure sanitation and safety protocols are followed.
  • Review and maintenance of USDA label approvals.
  • Regular training and retraining of the team on food safety requirements.
  • Support internal audits and inspections as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of QA/HACCP experience or equivalent undergraduate degree.
  • Prior experience working in an inspected facility or field is desired but willing to train the right person.
