Job description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team and play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for conducting inspections throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. This individual will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while helping ensure products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and defect-free.
Key Responsibilities
•Perform incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections to verify product quality and compliance.
•Receive and inspect incoming materials and components using ERP systems such as SAP Business One (SAP B1) or similar platforms.
•Conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, and basic functional inspections.
•Verify product labeling, documentation, and customer-specific requirements.
•Review products prior to shipment to ensure all quality standards and customer specifications are met.
•Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) through customer portals as required.
•Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and supporting documentation.
•Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.
•Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive action initiatives.
•Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
•Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and established quality procedures.
•Prioritize inspection activities to support production schedules and on-time customer deliveries.
Qualifications
Education
•Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field preferred.
•ISO 9001 certification is a plus.
Experience
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
•Experience performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
•Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
•Experience working in lean manufacturing environments preferred.
•Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One (SAP B1) is a plus.

•Strong understanding of inspection methods and quality assurance processes.
•Working knowledge of quality management systems and documentation requirements.
•Ability to perform detailed product inspections with a high level of accuracy.
•Familiarity with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
