Job description

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a driven GM/Chef Manager to lead café and catering operations at USAA in Chesapeake, VA. Build strong client partnerships, deliver memorable experiences, and drive operational excellence.

Lead a team of 7, oversee menus, ordering, inventory, budgets, and catering production. Enjoy a primarily weekday schedule while balancing hands-on culinary leadership with strategic business management.

In this dynamic role, you'll take ownership of daily food and nutrition service operations, balancing hands-on leadership with strategic oversight. You’ll inspire and lead a team, drive performance outcomes, and build meaningful relationships that enhance client and customer satisfaction.


Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $56270 per year - $72820 per year

Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary
