Compal USA Technology INC. is seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to oversee our warehouse and supply chain processes. This role supports inventory optimization, cycle count programs, reconciliation activities, reporting, and process improvements to ensure operational efficiency and inventory accuracy. The analyst works cross-functionally with operations, procurement, logistics, finance, and supply chain teams to identify discrepancies, reduce inventory loss, and improve inventory management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Tracking & Auditing: Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconcile system data with actual on-hand stock.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure data integrity.
- Stock Optimization: Maintain optimal stock levels, monitor reorder points, and forecast demand to prevent shortages and excess carrying costs.
- System Administration: Accurately input and manage inventory data within SAP & MES (Enterprise Resource Planning/Warehouse Management System) software.
- Loss Mitigation: Monitor for shrinkage, damage, or obsolescence and recommend strategies to minimize loss and waste.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–3+ years of previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SAP and strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks at different locations, warehouse, production, receiving, Quality areas.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with vendors, purchasing teams, and warehouse staff.
Work Environment
- Combination of office and warehouse/distribution center environment.
- May require periodic standing, walking warehouse floors, and conducting physical counts.
- Occasional travel may be required for multi-site operations.
