Job Description

About Us

VERSANT is a leading force in news, sports and entertainment - home to iconic and trusted brands that inspire, inform, and delight audiences. Our unique combination of content, technology and services enriches the cultural fabric, igniting passions, sparking conversations, and connecting people to what they love most.

As an independent, publicly traded company, VERSANT brings together powerhouse cable networks - including USA Network, CNBC, MS NOW (formerly MSNBC), Oxygen, E!, SYFY, and Golf Channel - with dynamic digital and direct-to-consumer brands such as Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Together, these businesses reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences across every screen and service.

VERSANT is an industry-changing media company fueled by innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit. With a strong foundation and a forward-looking vision, VERSANT empowers creativity, embraces change, and drives connection in an ever-evolving world.

The Opportunity

VERSANT is seeking an Enablement & Adoption Strategist to help employees across the company adopt AI tools confidently, responsibly, and effectively. Reporting to the Senior Director, Technology Enablement & Partnerships, this role will support enterprise-wide enablement for ChatGPT, the OpenAI platform, and other approved AI technologies used across VERSANT.

This role sits at the intersection of technology enablement, product adoption, technical learning, and hands-on experimentation. You will help administer AI platforms, support live enablement sessions, create practical learning materials, and translate emerging AI capabilities into prototypes, demos, and reusable resources that help employees apply AI to real business needs.

Why this role matters: AI adoption at VERSANT depends on more than access to tools. Employees need clear guidance, relevant examples, practical training, and trusted support. This role will help make AI more approachable, useful, and measurable across teams, while supporting safe and responsible use of approved platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Help administer ChatGPT, the OpenAI platform, and other approved AI tools for VERSANT employees, including user support, onboarding, access coordination, and day-to-day enablement needs.

  • Partner with the Senior Director, Technology Enablement & Partnerships to design and deliver live, customized AI enablement sessions for individuals, teams, and functional groups.

  • Create asynchronous training resources such as guides, demos, prompt examples, short-form learning content, FAQs, and practical playbooks that help employees apply AI tools to their work.

  • Stay current on AI platform updates, emerging capabilities, and approved tools used within VERSANT, translating new features into practical use cases and educational artifacts.

  • Build lightweight prototypes, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts that show how AI can improve workflows, accelerate productivity, or unlock new ways of working.

  • Gather employee feedback, identify adoption barriers, and recommend improvements to training, support, documentation, and platform experience.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Experience in technology enablement, product adoption, technical training, solutions consulting, customer success, or a related role.

  • Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to learn new AI tools quickly and explain them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools, large language models, enterprise SaaS platforms, automation tools, APIs, or lightweight prototyping approaches.

  • Experience creating training materials, enablement content, documentation, demos, or educational resources.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to support individuals, small groups, and larger team sessions.

  • A product mindset, with curiosity about user needs, adoption patterns, feedback loops, and measurable outcomes.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-changing environment where tools, capabilities, and priorities continue to evolve.

You also bring VERSANT’s “How We Do It” behaviors to the work:

  • Trust: You support responsible use of AI tools and provide clear, reliable guidance to employees.

  • Teamwork: You collaborate across technology, business, security, and vendor partners to improve adoption.

  • Transparency: You communicate clearly about what AI tools can do, where they have limits, and how employees should use them.

  • Agility: You adapt quickly as AI platforms and business needs evolve.

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You experiment, prototype, and find practical ways to turn emerging capabilities into business value.

Nice-to-have experience:

  • Experience with ChatGPT Enterprise, the OpenAI platform, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Salesforce Agentforce, or similar AI platforms.

  • Familiarity with responsible AI, enterprise technology governance, privacy, or security considerations.

  • Experience supporting technology change management or enterprise-wide adoption programs.

  • Experience building demos, prototypes, or internal tools using low-code, no-code, or developer-oriented platforms.

Why You'll Love It Here

This is an opportunity to help shape how AI is adopted across VERSANT. You will work with emerging technologies, support employees across a wide range of teams, and help turn new AI capabilities into practical ways of working.

You will be part of a team focused on enabling innovation, improving employee experience, and helping VERSANT build the skills, systems, and confidence needed to use AI responsibly and effectively.
