Job Summary:
VT Group (VTG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with various teams to streamline release processes.
Responsibilities:
โข Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable application deployments
โข Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
โข Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
โข Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
โข Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes
โข Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
โข Troubleshoot system issues across environments and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
โข Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies
โข Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud environments
Qualifications:
Required:
โข Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
โข Bachelorโs degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
โข 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
โข Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
โข Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
โข Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
โข Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
โข Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
โข Experience with version control systems (Git).
โข Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
