The Department of Urology is seeking BC/BE providers in General Urology, Endourology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and Urologic Oncology to join our growing team of exceptional physicians. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team in one of the fastest growing areas of the country with brand new practice facilities including new outpatient clinic space and a newly opened 649 bed hospital.Qualified candidate will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available for the interested candidate.

General Urologist with Banner University Medical Group - Tucson, AZ
Endourologist for Academic Institution | Univ of AZ | Tucson AZ
Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Faculty Member in Tucson, AZ.
Urology Oncology: Academics + Research at the University of Arizona
Qualifications, Features and Functions:
  • Academic Urology position providing education and training of medical students and residents in both clinic and OR settings
  • Join group of 14 MDs and APPs with ongoing recruitments to meet strong patient demand
  • Clinical care of patients with complex kidney stones
  • Cases/Procedures include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, treatment of BPH
  • Contemporary operating rooms with dedicated cystoscopy rooms
  • DaVinci DV5, Xi and SP robots available
  • Flexibility with schedule: 2/3 days in clinic weekly
  • Call schedule: 7 days call monthly with resident coverage
  • Average Clinical Patient Load: 20-25/day - with MA support
  • Valid AZ MD Medical License (or eligible to receive)
  • Desire to join the leading team providing Urologic care in the Southwest
  • Experienced candidates preferred but new grads will be considered
