Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator - Urgently Hiring
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Hire Sync is urgently hiring Warehouse Associates / Forklift Operators for immediate openings in Chicago, IL. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused candidates with warehouse and forklift experience who are comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment.
In this role, you'll clean, inspect, disassemble, and reassemble industrial tanks and totes while helping ensure equipment is properly prepared for continued use. This is a physical position that requires attention to detail, the ability to follow established safety procedures, and a willingness to work around large industrial equipment.
What You'll Do
  • Clean and inspect industrial totes, tanks, tank trailers, and ISO containers
  • Prepare totes and tanks for the cleaning process
  • Properly disassemble equipment and components prior to cleaning
  • Clean both the interior and exterior of tanks and totes
  • Inspect equipment for residual product before beginning the cleaning process
  • Perform post-cleaning inspections of interior and exterior surfaces
  • Reassemble totes and equipment after cleaning
  • Identify areas that may require additional cleaning or attention
  • Safely operate a forklift to move equipment and materials throughout the facility
  • Follow established safety procedures and cleaning processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
What We're Looking For
  • Recent forklift experience required
  • Previous warehouse, industrial, manufacturing, tank cleaning, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to safely lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting equipment before and after cleaning
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
