Job description

Reporting to the Senior Plant Project Engineer - Utilities, you will oversee the Facilities Maintenance Department and associated equipment at our Russellville, Arkansas manufacturing facility. You will maintain the preventive maintenance system, support the plant's safety and uptime goals, control maintenance expenses, and lead equipment performance tracking, repair, and continuous improvement activities. You will partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure facility systems, automation equipment, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance technicians and contractors engaged in facilities maintenance activities and capital projects.
  • Monitor equipment downtime, maintenance performance, and operational efficiencies to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Eliminate recurring equipment failures and promote equipment longevity through effective maintenance practices.
  • Train, coach, and direct team members to follow safe and quality-focused work methods and standards.
  • Enforce plant safety programs and maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and standards.
  • Lead predictive and preventive maintenance programs, including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.
  • Evaluate preventive and predictive maintenance activities and frequencies to optimize workforce utilization and equipment reliability.
  • Manage facilities maintenance activities within budget while supporting operational requirements and labor agreement expectations.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical manuals.
  • Support compliance activities related to United States Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance of facility systems including plumbing, piping, drains, roofing, painting, flooring, concrete, and doors.
  • Support maintenance of shipping and receiving automation systems, including dock equipment, doors, racking systems, automated truck loading systems, and robotic equipment.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three or more years of maintenance experience.
  • One or more years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience administering preventive maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of electronic and electrical principles.
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices, including plumbing, piping, drains, roofing, painting, flooring, concrete, and doors.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving automation equipment maintenance, including dock equipment, doors, racking systems, automated truck loading systems, and robotic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Effective communication and team leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $64,000.00 - $88,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
