Job Description

This role supports field operations by performing water transfer, roustabout, and tank build activities in outdoor environments for oil and gas and construction-related projects. You will work on rotating 12-hour shifts, travel to various job sites as needed, and use hand and power tools, pumps, and construction equipment to safely and efficiently complete field service tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform water transfer operations in the field, including setting up, operating, and monitoring pumps, hoses, and related equipment to support oil and gas and construction projects.
  • Carry out roustabout duties such as rig up and rig down activities, assisting with tank builds, and supporting general field construction tasks as assigned.
  • Assemble, install, and dismantle tanks and related structures using appropriate tools and equipment while following safety and quality standards.
  • Operate and assist with the operation of construction and field service equipment, including telehandlers and other material-handling tools, under appropriate supervision and in accordance with site procedures.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete construction, maintenance, and field service work on time and to specification.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions for 12-hour shifts, including at heights up to approximately 30 feet in a man lift, while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Travel regularly to various job sites, including daily travel to field locations such as Waynesburg, and report to the designated warehouse or staging location as required.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 months of experience working outdoors in field, construction, or similar environments.
  • Experience working 12-hour days in outdoor conditions, including exposure to varying weather and site conditions.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience using hand and power tools in construction, field service, or industrial settings.
  • Roustabout experience, including familiarity with rig up and rig down activities and general oil and gas field tasks.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to different job sites and to be open to project-based travel requirements.
  • Comfort working at heights up to approximately 30 feet in the air using a man lift or similar equipment.
  • Ability to work rotating schedules such as 6 days on and multiple days off, including swing shifts and long shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in oil and gas field operations, including water transfer, roustabout work, or related field services.
  • Experience with construction activities such as tank builds, pump installation, and general site setup.
  • Familiarity with telehandler operation or other construction material-handling equipment in a field environment.
  • Experience in field service roles that require travel between job sites and work in remote or changing locations.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, site procedures, and safety guidelines while working with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with field crews, supervisors, and other trades.
  • Reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts, including 12-hour swing shifts and rotating work patterns.
  • Comfort working from a warehouse or yard as a primary reporting location before traveling to field sites.

Why Work Here?

You will join a growing field operations team at a time when new projects are ramping up, creating opportunities to gain diverse experience across multiple sites and tasks. When converted to a direct role, you may be eligible for a company vehicle, adding convenience and support for daily travel. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental coverage, and a 401(k) plan, helping you build long-term financial security. You can expect a culture that values hands-on work, field safety, and steady, project-driven schedules, providing a clear structure to your work life while still offering variety in day-to-day tasks.

The role involves regular travel to job sites, including daily travel to locations such as Waynesburg, with a per diem available when traveling to certain sites. The warehouse serves as a main reporting and staging location, where equipment, tools, and materials are stored and prepared for field deployment. Work often takes place at heights up to approximately 30 feet in the air using a man lift, and involves operating or working around pumps, telehandlers, and other construction and field service equipment.
