Job description

Are you an energetic team player who loves to make a difference?  If so, come and join our team!

We are seeking both a full-time and a part-time medical receptionist with at least 2 years of experience in a busy medical office. Rothbloom Eye Care is a private, well-established optometric practice located in Smyrna, GA.  Shifts are flexible but may include early mornings (7am), evenings until 7pm and some Saturdays.  

Job Duties include:

  • Greeting, welcoming and checking in patients.
  • Answering phone calls in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Verifying patient's medical and/or vision coverage prior to their appointment.
  • Schedule patient appointments and answer basic questions.
  • Accurately verify and update all patient information including insurance coverage.
  • Assist with contact lens orders.
  • Perform other administrative duties to assist the team.

Must have friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy working with people to be successful in this position.  If you also speak Spanish and can assist with translation, please apply!  Previous experience with Eyefinity Practice Management Software a plus.

Company Description

Rothbloom Eye Care is open to serve our patients 6 days a week. Our operating hours are M-Th 7:30am - 6:00pm, F 8:00am - 5:30pm and Saturdays from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Front desk personnel are scheduled for 4-5 days/week, including every other Saturday. Medical insurance is available, along with Paid Time Off, discounted Vision services and a 401k Plan with an employer match.
