Job Summary:
Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Help Desk Engineer to manage both initial inquiries and complex problems. The role involves configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems while enhancing system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Handling both initial Help Desk inquiries (Tier 1) and escalated, complex problems (Tier 2).
• Configuring and managing both UNIX and Windows operating systems, and implementing enhancements to improve system reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph REQUIRED
• Security+ Cert
• 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 5 additional years of experience as a System Administrator may be substituted for a degree
• Experience with AWS
• Intermediate Linux
• Windows 10/11, Windows server 2022
• Bash/other scripting
