SMT Solder Assembly Technician — Urgently hiring in Fountain Valley!

Job Title: SMT Solder Assembly Technician
Pay: Up to $21.00 / hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

As an SMT Solder Assembly Technician, you'll be at the forefront of precision electronic assembly, ensuring high-quality soldering and assembling small electronic components. You’ll work closely with our production team to deliver top-notch results that make a real impact.

What You’ll Do
As a SMT Solder Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing hand soldering of small electronic components, including solder pins and SMT on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Assembling soldered circuit boards and sub-assemblies into final electronic products following technical schematics and work instructions.
  • Visual inspection of solder joints and assemblies for quality, identifying bridging, defects, or inconsistencies.
  • Maintaining soldering equipment, tools, and work area to ensure optimal operation and safety.
  • Adhering to all safety procedures, including ESD protocols, and following quality control standards to ensure product excellence.


What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience with SMT micro-soldering, hand soldering on PCBs, and small mechanical assembly.
  • Excellent fine-motor skills and hand-eye coordination, comfortable working under magnification or microscopes if necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic assembly drawings, schematics, or work instructions.
  • A keen eye for detail, with a focus on neat solder joints and visual accuracy.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, especially for the early 6:00 AM shift.
