This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who works well under pressure, values craftsmanship, and understands the importance of customer care during stressful loss situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation
  • Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)
  • Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials
  • Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents
  • Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools
  • Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software
  • Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites
  • Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members
  • Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services
Qualifications

  • Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades preferred
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup a plus
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environments
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls
Why Join ServiceMaster Restore?

  • Competitive pay with overtime potential
  • Paid training and support for IICRC certifications
  • Steady year-round work in essential disaster recovery services
  • Career advancement opportunities (Lead Technician, Crew Chief, Estimator, Project Manager)
  • Work that directly helps families and businesses recover
Benefits (Location Dependent)

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement (role dependent)
