We currently have an opening in our Greenville office for an Associate Attorney in the Financial Services/Creditor Rights practice group. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package in a professional, congenial work environment with a clear path for advancement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow within a team that represents regional and national financial institutions, lenders, and property owners in a broad range of creditor rights matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility early, manage cases directly, gain significant courtroom experience and mentorship from experienced practitioners with deep industry knowledge.
Practice Areas Include:
  • Bankruptcy: motion practice, adversary proceedings, hearings, and claim enforcement.
  • Foreclosure: residential and commercial foreclosures from initiation through judgment and sale.
  • Collections: prosecution of collection actions, judgment enforcement, and related litigation.
  • Landlord-Tenant: representation of landlords in both residential and commercial disputes.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage a diverse caseload with direct client contact.
  • Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, and appear in state and federal courts.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on creditor rights issues and compliance considerations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in South Carolina (federal admissions preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in creditor rights, financial services litigation, or related areas.
  • Strong litigation, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and effectively.
