JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan!
The Lifestyle Assistant plays a key role in creating an exceptional resident experience by assisting with the planning, coordination, promotion, and execution of community events, clubs, and recreational programming. This position supports the Lifestyle Department through administrative tasks, resident engagement, vendor coordination, social media, and event setup while maintaining the high standards expected.
With a strong emphasis on event coordination, the Lifestyle assistant plans, organizes, and executes a diverse calendar of activities including social events, seasonal celebrations, wellness programs, educational workshops, and signature community gatherings. From concept to execution, they manage logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, timelines, and on-site event leadership to ensure high-quality, memorable experiences.
Equally important is the marketing component of the role. The Lifestyle Assistant is responsible for producing marketing materials with direction from the marketing department which may or may not include engaging newsletters, flyers, social media content, email campaigns, and digital signage, while maintaining consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels. A strong understanding of marketing concepts and design and ability to meet strict deadlines play a key component in this role.
This position also serves as a key ambassador for the community-building relationships with residents, local businesses, and partners to expand programming opportunities and sponsorships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about cultivating an active, connected lifestyle environment. The Lifestyle Assistant plays a vital role in shaping the culture of the community-bringing people together, enhancing lifestyle offerings, and creating experiences that residents look forward to year-round.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!
  • Event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Marketing strategy and promotional campaigns for events and programs for the community
  • Resident engagement and participation growth
  • Party rental space booking, organization and bookkeeping
  • Communication and brand consistency
  • Customer Service
    • Engage with guests (residents) and staff and be a team builder.
    • Provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests (residents).
    • Lead staff and vendors in achieving a common vision and appropriate goals.
    • Provide effective written and verbal communication.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!
  • 3-5 years experience including the coordinating and execution of events.
  • 2-4 years marketing experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong understanding of budgeting for events.
  • Competent in all standard Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and Teams.
  • Knowledge of and Experience with Social Media channels
  • Understanding of any amenity, country club software/apps is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing techniques including utilizing online graphics programs including one of the following: Canva, photoshop or other.
  • Knowledge of e-blast systems including Constant Contact and/or Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of website management (WordPress) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading ability and the ability to respond within a 24-hour time frame.
  • Current Driver's License
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Frequent travel may be required.

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This work requires being outdoors in varied weather conditions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
