Job description

Experienced Auto Body Painter, Prepper & Polisher

We are looking for experienced auto body professionals to join our well-established and growing shop. We are seeking qualified individuals for Painter, Prepper, and Polisher positions.

Painter

The Painter must be able to:

  • Identify color variations
  • Formulate paint
  • Create spray-out cards
  • Apply materials with minimal debris and defects

Prepper

The Prepper must be able to:

  • Prepare vehicles for paint
  • Sand, prime, and block
  • Perform a final check of prep work before refinishing
  • Wash and dry vehicles
  • Tape and mask vehicles for painting

Polisher

The Polisher must be able to:

  • De-nib and rub to remove dirt and minor defects from paint
  • Machine and hand glaze
  • Check for and remove overspray

All Paint Shop Positions

All paint shop personnel must:

  • Work neatly and maintain a clean work area
  • Wash and prepare completed vehicles for customer pickup
  • Help maintain the paint shop and equipment
