Job description

Hays have partnered with a highly respected GC in Northern Virginia that’s building one of the strongest multifamily pipelines in the region—$50M–$150M ground-up developments across Reston, Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax launching over the next 3–12 months.

They’re not just hiring a PM—they’re looking for someone who wants to step into important projects, real ownership, and faster progression.

What stands out:

  • Lead from day one on a significant multifamily construction build.
  • Be positioned to take on larger, more complex work quickly.
  • Clear, intentional path to Senior PM (1–2 years)—backed by real mentorship, not just timelines
  • Strong construction backlog = stability + consistent upward momentum
  • You’ll be working alongside a seasoned construction Project Executive, but not stuck in support—you’ll be visible, accountable, and progressing fast.

The environment:

  • High-performing, well-regarded builder (not a revolving door)
  • Projects that actually elevate your resume
  • Culture that rewards delivery with regular reviews, promotions, and comp growth

Comp / structure:

  • Total compensation package in the range of $175K-$220K, assessed on experience.
  • Bonus program, historically paying out 15-20% of base salary.
  • Vehicle allowance per month.
  • Company Profit sharing + 401k match
  • Full healthcare covered, majority employer paid Healthcare.
  • Tuition support + leadership development
  • Progression into a Senior Project Manager in the next 1-2 years.
