Locations: Multiple openings across Long Island and NYC
Pay: $17.00/hour
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Schedule: Must be available to work Monday–Sunday

Looking for an opportunity to get started in retail, build valuable customer service skills, and grow into a larger role?

The UPS Store is looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated Retail Returns Specialists to join our multi-location team across Long Island and New York City.

This is an entry-level position designed to be a starting point within our organization. You’ll begin by learning customer service, Amazon and retail returns, package handling, and daily store operations.

As you demonstrate reliability, accuracy, strong customer service, and a willingness to learn, you’ll have opportunities to train in additional areas—including shipping, packing, printing, and mailbox services—and work toward advancement into a Retail Sales Associate position.


What You’ll Do
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
  • Assist customers with Amazon and other retail returns
  • Scan QR codes, labels, and packages using store systems
  • Follow return instructions and ensure transactions are processed accurately
  • Prepare, consolidate, organize, and stage returned merchandise
  • Help customers understand the return process and resolve basic questions
  • Handle customer packages and merchandise carefully
  • Maintain a clean and organized returns and customer-service area
  • Assist team members during busy periods
  • Participate in ongoing training and development
